Gunfire Erupts on Kuwait's Abdali Road Amid Violent Brawl

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has launched an investigation into a violent incident on Abdali Road where shots were fired from a Kalashnikov rifle at a vehicle. The General Department of Criminal Investigation is actively working to identify and apprehend all individuals involved, including the alleged shooter and those in the targeted vehicle.

Responding to a report of a fight and gunfire, security patrols arrived at the scene to find a vehicle that had collided with a roadside barrier. Three men inside the damaged car told security officers they were deliberately rammed by a group of known assailants. The attackers then allegedly exited their vehicles, assaulted the occupants, and one reportedly fired multiple rounds from a Kalash rifle at the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

During an examination of the damaged vehicle and the surrounding area, authorities discovered a bullet casing inside the car, confirming the use of a firearm. The three men informed investigators that the incident stemmed from an earlier altercation between the two groups two days prior.

The injured individuals were transported to Al-Jahra Hospital. Medical evaluations determined their injuries were consistent with the vehicle collision, and none had sustained gunshot wounds. Investigators are continuing their efforts to identify all parties involved and to establish the full circumstances leading up to the confrontation and the use of the weapon.
