Gutter Installer Electrocuted and Falls to Death at Bursa Construction Site

A tragic accident at a construction site in Bursa, Turkey, has resulted in the death of a worker. Ferdi Aydemir, an installer specializing in gutters, lost his life on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place around 10:00 AM in the Cerrah neighborhood of İnegöl district. Aydemir was working on the roof of a 3-story building under construction, attempting to install a rainwater drainage system. While handling a 10-meter-long gutter, he came into contact with an electrical current.

Following the electrocution, Aydemir fell approximately 10 meters onto the concrete ground below. Emergency services, including gendarmerie and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by bystanders. Medical personnel pronounced Aydemir dead at the scene.

Family members of the deceased experienced severe emotional distress upon learning of the incident. Aydemir's body was transported to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy. The gendarmerie has initiated an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
