Gwamna Cleared by APC, Set to Face Pantami, Alkali in Gombe Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially cleared Jamil-Isyaku Gwamna to vie for the governorship ticket in Gombe State for the 2027 elections. This significant step, confirmed by a press statement from Gwamna's media aide, Ibrahim Shawai, follows a thorough screening exercise in Abuja. The process, conducted in line with the party's constitutional provisions, saw Gwamna meet all requirements, as affirmed by the screening committee chairman, Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoye.

Both Pantami and Alkali have also declared their intentions to contest the 2027 polls under the APC banner.
