GWM Expands Portfolio at GIIAS 2026, ORA 5 Debuts and Tank Diesel Gets Refreshed

GWM Indonesia is making a significant splash at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, unveiling a refreshed lineup designed to impress. The company is introducing three key updates: the exclusive Tank 500 Diesel Black Warrior Edition, a new Sand Beige color option for the Tank 300 Diesel, and the highly anticipated Indonesian debut of the ORA 5.

Under the theme "More Than Meets the Eye," GWM Indonesia CEO Bagus Susanto emphasized the company's dedication to delivering products with enhanced value and robust substance. "At GIIAS, we are present not only with a fresher look but also with stronger substance than before," Susanto stated. He assured attendees that each GWM product offers more than what meets the eye, reflecting a deep commitment to Indonesian consumers.

The star of the show is the Tank 500 Diesel Black Warrior Edition, a special variant featuring a full black styling concept across its exterior, wheels, and body accents. This edition retains the technical specifications of the standard Tank 500 Diesel 4x4, including its GW4D24 2.4L turbo diesel engine producing 480 Nm of torque. It also boasts advanced features like triple differential locks, eight driving modes, ADAS Level 2, a Nappa leather interior with massage and ventilation functions, and a 12-speaker sound system. This premium SUV is priced at Rp 925 million on the road in Jakarta.

Further diversifying its offerings, GWM has introduced a new Sand Beige color for the Tank 300 Diesel, complementing its existing options without altering its specifications or off-road capabilities. The Tank 300 Diesel maintains its five-star ANCAP safety rating and is available for Rp 699 million on the road in Jakarta. These strategic updates underscore GWM's commitment to expanding its presence and appeal in the Indonesian automotive market.
