Hana Financial Group Launches 'Productive Finance Academy' to Enhance Expertise

Hana Financial Group is taking a significant step to enhance its role in society and bolster its practical support capabilities by overhauling its training system. The group has introduced the 'Productive Finance Academy,' a structured program designed to elevate the execution of its core mission: productive finance.

This new academy, spearheaded by the Hana Financial Research Institute, aims to cultivate experts equipped with both a deep understanding of industrial landscapes and robust financial execution skills, thereby supporting the stable operation of the group's growth projects. The group plans to complete all preparations and commence training in the first half of this year.

Previously, the Hana Financial Research Institute offered customized seminars for professionals in areas like credit analysis, corporate banking (RM), and investment banking (IB). The establishment of the academy signifies a move towards a more integrated and advanced training system by consolidating these scattered programs. Notably, the curriculum will fully leverage the expertise of the group's specialized research organizations, including the Hana Financial Research Institute, Hana Securities Research Center, and Hana Financial Convergence Technology Institute. This integration ensures that employees gain the ability to thoroughly identify opportunities and potential risks within various industries and apply this knowledge immediately in the field.

To further enhance the educational quality, Hana Financial Group is strengthening collaborations with external institutions. A memorandum of understanding is set to be signed with the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET) by the end of this month. This partnership will allow the group to incorporate KIET's in-depth industrial analysis and policy research findings, elevating the standard of its training programs.
