The downpours, influenced by a tropical depression and strong sea winds, have caused rivers and streams to swell, spilling over dams and inundating local routes.

Further impacts were felt in Tan Phuoc village, where one house experienced flooding due to its low-lying foundation. Authorities have stationed personnel to assist with potential evacuations if requested by residents. In Huong Phung commune, flooding occurred at three locations in the Doa Ma Lai and A Roong villages, rendering roads impassable.
