Lazar battles cerebral palsy and epilepsy, conditions that prevent him from walking and speaking. He endures frequent and severe epileptic seizures, requires a tracheostomy, and relies on an aspirator and oxygen due to his deteriorating neurological state. Compounding these challenges, he suffers from severe scoliosis of the spine. His mother provides constant care, but the family's resources are strained to the breaking point.
