High over North Sea Affects Poland, Cooling Trend Expected

Poland is currently experiencing the influence of a vast high-pressure system originating from the North Sea, which is pushing cooler polar maritime air into the country. This system is displacing warmer tropical air, particularly in the southeastern regions.

On Tuesday, the weather forecast indicates variable cloud cover, potentially increasing to significant levels at times. Scattered rain showers are expected in the northern and eastern parts of the country. Maximum temperatures will range from 18°C in the north, around 22°C in central and foothill areas, to a warmer 27°C in the southeast. Winds will be light to moderate, becoming quite strong and gusty in some coastal and southern areas, reaching up to 55 km/h in the north and 60 km/h along the coast.

Overnight into Wednesday, skies will be mostly clear, though northern areas may see moderate to heavy cloud cover with possible intermittent rain. Fog is anticipated in some northeastern locations, reducing visibility to 300 meters. Minimum temperatures will range from 9°C to 14°C, with cooler conditions around 8°C in foothill regions.

Wednesday's forecast suggests mostly clear skies in the southwestern half of Poland, with moderate to heavy cloudiness and possible scattered rain showers in the northeastern parts. Maximum temperatures are expected to be between 20°C and 25°C, with cooler conditions near the sea and in the Carpathian foothills, around 19°C. Winds will be light, moderate along the coast, and gusty in some northern areas, coming from northern directions.
