Hong Kong celebrities to play charity football match in Malaysia

A unique football friendly, "The Bridge of Legends Hong Kong Celebrities Football Friendly Match," is set to take place on October 10 at the MBPJ Stadium, pitting the Hong Kong celebrities' FC3 Club against the Selangor FC Legends. The match is organized by Orange Leisure Sdn. Bhd. in collaboration with Pew Pew Resource.

The event, scheduled from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., carries a charitable purpose. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Make-A-Wish Malaysia, an organization dedicated to granting wishes for children battling critical illnesses. The launch ceremony for the match was graced by Tengku Zatashah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor, alongside representatives from Selangor FC Legends, Make-A-Wish Malaysia, and the organizers.

FC3 Club, comprising popular Hong Kong actors and singers, originated during the filming of the drama "Fearless" in Malaysia in 2024. Several members, including Carlos Chan, Locker Lam, Adrian Chau, Tony Wu, and former Hong Kong international Kumar So, expressed a special connection to Malaysia, where the club's idea was conceived. "Coming back here to play again holds a very special meaning for us," they stated.

The FC3 Club team boasts notable figures from Hong Kong's entertainment industry, such as Kaho Hung, Jer Lau (Jer@MIRROR), Carlos Chan, Tony Wu, Adrian Chau, Edward Ma, Elvin Wong, Jonathan Li, Terry Ng, and Kumar So, with Locker Lam serving as captain. Despite busy filming schedules, the team is committed to delivering an entertaining and competitive match for the fans. Ticket sales begin July 30, with prices ranging from RM68 to RM368.
