Hunter's bullet narrowly misses three people, but no one is blamed

A hunter's bullet miraculously avoided causing a tragedy, narrowly missing three individuals when it struck a moving vehicle on the "Via Baltica" highway in Lithuania. The incident occurred on the morning of January 24th as the car was traveling towards Panevėžys.

Rolandas, the driver, was traveling with two elderly female passengers when the car's side window suddenly shattered. Upon stopping, they discovered a bullet lodged in the car's pillar. "Imagine what would have happened to the three of us if it had hit me and the car had collided head-on with a truck," Rolandas reflected on the near-fatal consequences.

Police have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the incident, which took place in the Kėdainiai district. Despite the severity of the near-miss, the report indicates that no one is currently being held responsible for the event. The source of the bullet and the circumstances leading to it being fired in the direction of the highway remain under investigation.
