Huracán's provocative social media posts after beating San Lorenzo 2-0

Huracán celebrated a significant 2-0 victory over rivals San Lorenzo, marking their first win at the Nuevo Gasómetro stadium in 25 years. The triumph, however, was overshadowed by provocative social media posts from Huracán's official account, aimed at taunting their rivals.

One post on X, referencing the popular Argentine series "El Marginal," read, "Hey, Marito, this looks like a slum... It's a slum." This was accompanied by a video of the visiting players entering the field. Another post, styled as a biblical quote, referred to Huracán's goalscorer Jordy Caicedo as "The chosen one" who would "punish the outcasts" in their "domain of filth and foul odors," citing "Jordy 9:02." The "9:02" cleverly combined Caicedo's jersey number and the final score.

The match itself was tense, with Caicedo's second-half goal sparking a confrontation. After scoring, Caicedo made a "Topo Gigio" gesture, popularized by former player Juan Román Riquelme, towards the San Lorenzo fans. This gesture led to scuffles between players. San Lorenzo's goalkeeper, Orlando Gill, was booked for pushing Caicedo, and later, defender Lucas Blondel received a red card after Gill headbutted him.
