Over 70 years of building, fighting, and growing, the national Economic Police force in general and the Ho Chi Minh City Economic Police force in particular have continuously affirmed their position and role, achieving many successes, contributing significantly to the overall achievements of the People's Police force.

Colonel Lang attributed the department's success and identity to the close guidance of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ho Chi Minh City Police's Party Committee and leadership. He also credited the dedication and sacrifice of previous generations, alongside the strong sense of unity within the department's leadership and staff. This collective spirit enables them to proactively develop and implement scientific, focused plans tailored to the realities of complex economic sectors.

The department prioritizes the strict implementation of directives from the City Police leadership and the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency. Its officers are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, initiative, creativity, and decisiveness, unafraid of hardship in fulfilling their duties. The department also benefits from crucial support and coordination from other police units, judicial agencies like the People's Procuracy and People's Court, and the public, including businesses and the media.
