Ieva Voveris opens up about what happened behind closed doors during her divorce

Ieva Voveris says she gave her marriage years of work, but still could not find happiness. The influencer and mother of three will discuss her unexpected divorce on LNK’s lifestyle program “Nuo... Iki...” this Monday evening.

Voveris, 37, has more than 100,000 social-media followers and is known by the name Eva Diva. She became widely known through posts depicting a lifestyle associated with the American dream, including large homes, spending, family life and changes in her appearance. She later drew particular attention by openly showing how her body changed with fluctuations in weight.

I was sad that I had failed, because I had truly given so much of myself. I spent three years with a relationship therapist, worked constantly, attended all kinds of relationship retreats and read relationship books. Family is very important to me. If I had met that person and become his wife, I wanted to remain his wife for the rest of my life. But I certainly did not feel happy.

After living in the United States for 11 years, Voveris unexpectedly announced that she and her family were moving to Dubai. At the beginning of this year, news that she and her husband had been living separately for some time, after about a year in the United Arab Emirates, surprised followers. She later announced that she had returned to Lithuania with her children.

Voveris says she could eventually marry again. She plans to make a list of the qualities she wants in a future husband after six months have passed, and says she has read that clarifying and visualizing one’s wishes is important.
