IFG Life Partners with Bank Papua to Offer Life Insurance for Loan Debtors

PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) has expanded its collaboration with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Papua (Bank Papua) by introducing life insurance protection for customers with multi-purpose loans and home ownership loans (KPR).

This partnership is designed to safeguard borrowers' credit obligations should they face risks while repaying their loans. The agreement was formalized in Jakarta on Thursday, July 23, 2026, building upon a previous cooperation in managing old-age funding programs.

Fabiola Noralita, IFG Life's Director of Individual Business and Corporate Business, stated that the collaboration aims to broaden public access to life insurance products through partnerships within the banking sector. "This strategic collaboration provides optimal protection for Bank Papua's customers and debtors. It demonstrates our commitment to expanding access to relevant life protection solutions that meet customer needs," Noralita said on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Under this new arrangement, IFG Life will provide credit life insurance for Bank Papua's multi-purpose and KPR debtors. The coverage is intended to help settle outstanding credit obligations if a borrower encounters a risk during the financing period. IFG Life plans to continue expanding its collaborations with various financial institutions to enhance its life protection services for the public.
