Indian community in Panama celebrates Festival of India with parade and cultural activities

Panama City – The vibrant spirit of India resonated through Panama as the local Indian community gathered on Saturday, May 9th, to celebrate the annual Festival of India. This cultural extravaganza, held along the scenic Cinta Costera, transformed the waterfront into a kaleidoscope of music, dance, theater, and authentic Indian cuisine, drawing a diverse crowd eager to experience the richness of Indian traditions.

Organized by the International Association for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), the festival's centerpiece was a magnificent parade of floats, intricately designed to reflect the essence of Hindu heritage. The procession, which began at the Hotel Miramar and concluded at the Mirador Pacífico Amphitheater, set a joyous tone for the afternoon.
