Indonesia holds dress rehearsal for MPR Annual Session and joint legislative meetings

Officials in Jakarta conducted a comprehensive dress rehearsal on Thursday for the upcoming Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), along with joint sessions of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD).

The simulation took place at the Nusantara Building within the parliamentary complex in Senayan. Its primary purpose was to meticulously prepare for the main events, ensuring all logistical and procedural aspects are finalized and ready for execution.

During the rehearsal, staff members performed their roles as they would during the official proceedings. This included practicing entry sequences, seating arrangements, and the overall conduct of the sessions. The aim was to ensure every detail, from the flow of proceedings to the precise timing of each segment, was checked and confirmed.

Even though it was a simulation, the atmosphere was designed to mirror the actual event. This approach helps all involved personnel understand their specific tasks and positions within the larger framework of the state agenda.
