Indonesian Civil Servants to Receive 13th Salary Starting June 2026

Indonesia's Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has confirmed that the 13th-month salary for civil servants (ASN), allowance recipients, and pensioners will be disbursed starting in June 2026. This payment aligns with Government Regulation (PP) No. 9 of 2026 and Ministerial Regulation (PMK) No. 13 of 2026.

While confirming the June disbursement, Sadewa did not provide a specific date, stating, "The thirteenth salary should be disbursed in June." He also noted that the total budget allocation for these payments has not yet been detailed. According to Sadewa, the specifics regarding the funds will be announced by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, adding, "Mr. Coordinating Minister should announce it, I will check again."

The thirteenth salary should be disbursed in June.

Based on PP No. 9 of 2026, the 13th-month salary is to be paid no earlier than June 2026. This additional payment is intended as a form of appreciation for the service of state apparatus, including civil servants, prospective civil servants, government contract employees (PPPK), TNI soldiers, National Police officers, and state officials, taking into account the state's financial capacity.

The amount of the 13th-month salary will be based on the components of income paid in May 2026. For recipients whose 13th-month salary is a continuation payment due to death or being killed in the line of duty (for PNS, TNI soldiers, or Polri members), the calculation will also be based on income components from May 2026, with the budget charged to their respective agencies or institutions.
