Jakarta police have confirmed that Indonesian female golf athlete Jesslyn Wijaya, 34, was not kidnapped, and they are moving to close the investigation into the case. The initial report of Wijaya's abduction during a family event in Central Jakarta on July 13 was withdrawn by the complainant on July 19. Subsequent investigations revealed that the individuals who accompanied Wijaya were acting under the direction of her mother.
