Inefop opens applications for six jobs paying $95,000: Requirements and how to apply

Uruguay’s National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training, Inefop, has opened applications for six consultant positions under its Territorial Coordination Service for Employment and Vocational Training.

The fixed-term positions will be distributed across Montevideo, Canelones, Colonia, Maldonado, Río Negro and Rocha, with one consultant assigned to each department. Each job pays $95,000 for a 40-hour working week.

The consultants will coordinate employment and training efforts between Dinae, Inefop, departmental governments and other public, private and social organizations. Their work will include taking part in local and departmental employment and vocational training committees, providing technical information and helping organize joint initiatives.

The roles will also involve promoting public employment services, connecting users with career guidance, vocational training and job-placement services, and providing basic advice on Inefop and Dinae programs. Consultants will work with companies, workers, representative organizations and other local economic actors to identify employment needs, required skills and opportunities for training and labor-market entry.

Applicants must have completed at least four years of tertiary education and hold a degree from a recognized institution. Relevant fields include labor relations, social sciences, psychology, social work, education, administration, territorial development, public policy and economics. Training or experience in employment policy, public employment services, career guidance, job placement or territorial development is valued. Applications close on September 20.
