Internal Political Security Deputy Director appointed Director of Lào Cai Provincial Police

Colonel Trịnh Khắc Cường officially assumes the role of Director of the Lào Cai Provincial Police Department starting August 12. His appointment follows a decision by the Minister of Public Security, announced at a ceremony on August 10.

Colonel Cường previously served as the Deputy Director of the Internal Political Security Department within the Ministry of Public Security. His transfer and appointment to Lào Cai were part of a broader personnel reshuffling within the police force.

During the announcement ceremony, Lieutenant General Phạm Thế Tùng, Deputy Minister of Public Security, formally presented the decision. He also acknowledged the achievements of both Colonel Cường and Major General Cao Minh Huyền, the outgoing Director of Lào Cai Provincial Police. Lieutenant General Tùng expressed confidence that both officers would quickly adapt to their new responsibilities and lead their respective departments effectively.

Major General Huyền will transition to the position of Director of the Immigration Management Department under the Ministry of Public Security. The Ministry expects both officers to foster unity, leverage collective wisdom, and excel in their new duties, contributing to national security, social order, and the development of the Lào Cai Provincial Police into a strong and clean force.
