Tehran has confirmed receipt of Washington's response to its comprehensive 14-point proposal, a diplomatic channel facilitated through Pakistan. The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, stated that the U.S. perspective is currently under review, with Iran's official reply to be formulated once deliberations are finalized.

Crucially, Baghaei reiterated that Iran's proposal is strictly aimed at de-escalating and terminating ongoing conflicts within the region, with a specific emphasis on the situation in Lebanon. He explicitly clarified that the 14-point plan does not encompass any nuclear-related matters, countering potential misinterpretations or external narratives.
