Israeli military attacks kill at least five Gazans on Saturday

At least five Palestinians died and dozens were wounded in a series of Israeli military attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to medical sources in the Palestinian enclave.

In Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, an Israeli strike on a house roof near Al Nour Stadium in Mawasi killed two people and injured several others, Gaza's Nasser Hospital reported. Another young man, 18, was killed in a separate Israeli drone strike in Mawasi. Emergency services treated five injured individuals from that incident.

Earlier on Saturday, Colonel Abdel Nasser Mohammad Al Maqadma, the police chief for Gaza's northern governorate, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Al Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City. More casualties were reported in that attack.

Additionally, another Palestinian succumbed to injuries sustained from an Israeli attack on a stall outside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, the hospital confirmed. These incidents add to the ongoing casualties reported since the ceasefire began on October 10, with the Gaza Ministry of Health reporting 1,191 Palestinian deaths and 3,853 injuries prior to Saturday's events.
