Istanbul to Host Global Music Stars in August

Istanbul is set to become a vibrant hub for international music this August, welcoming acclaimed artists from a wide array of genres. Music lovers can anticipate performances from global stars in rap, electronic music, pop, rock, and K-pop, promising a dynamic cultural calendar for the city.

Kicking off the month, British rapper Central Cee is scheduled to perform on August 1 at Festival Park Yenikapı. Following him, Egyptian pop icon Amr Diab will take the stage on August 2 at Ataköy Marina as part of the Istanbul Festival. Electronic music pioneers The Prodigy are slated for a performance on August 7 at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center's Turkcell stage.

Further bolstering the festival atmosphere, Dutch DJ Tiesto will perform on August 8 as part of the Istanbul Festival. Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson is set to entertain audiences on August 9 at Bonus Parkorman. American singer-songwriter LP, also known as Laura Pergolizzi, will connect with fans on August 14 at Küçükçiftlik Park.

The city will also host a significant K-pop presence. South Korean singer Kwon Eunbi and the group ATEEZ are scheduled for August 14, while fellow Korean artist Sunmi and the group MONSTA X will perform on August 15, both at Festival Park Yenikapı. Adding to the electronic music scene, Argy will perform on August 16 at Festival Park Yenikapı, and Palestinian techno artist Sama' Abdulhadi is set for August 28 at Klein Phönix. Wrapping up the month's major acts, Grammy-winning American rock musician Jack White will perform on August 23 at Bonus Parkorman.
