Jang Dong-hyuk, the leader of the People Power Party, has sharply criticized several Democratic Party candidates for their appearances on Kim Eo-jun's radio show, labeling Kim as the true 'Kingmaker' of the Democratic Party. Jang asserted that 14 out of the 16 candidates running for metropolitan mayoral and gubernatorial positions have shown deference to Kim, even going so far as to say they 'bowed their heads' to him. This strong accusation highlights the perceived influence Kim Eo-jun holds within the opposition party. Jang suggested that Kim's sway is so significant that if these Democratic candidates are elected, public officials might find themselves reporting to Kim's office rather than their designated superiors. The People Power Party leader also took aim at the potential transformation of the public broadcasting station TBS, implying it could become 'Teol Bo System' (a reference to Kim's nickname) if a candidate like Jung Won-oh, who is running for Seoul mayor, is elected. Jang concluded by stating that while Lee Jae-myung is 'ruining the country,' Kim Eo-jun is 'ruining Lee Jae-myung,' and now this influence extends to the local level, painting a picture of a deeply problematic political landscape in South Korea.
