Jetour T1 SUV Launched in Malaysia from RM129,800

Jetour Auto Malaysia has strengthened its presence in the sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment with the introduction of the all-new Jetour T1. This new model is available starting at RM129,800 for the 1.5L TGDi 2WD variant, while the 2.0L TGDi XWD variant is priced at RM146,800.

The T1 is engineered as a contemporary urban SUV, blending aesthetics, intelligent technology, comfort, and practicality to meet local consumer demands. This aligns with the brand's "Travel+" philosophy, emphasizing a lifestyle-oriented approach.

Nicholas Ng, Vice President of Jetour Auto Malaysia, stated that the T1's launch is a strategic move to bolster the company's SUV portfolio in Malaysia, responding to the growing consumer interest in vehicles offering premium design, modern technology, and excellent value. "The Jetour T1 was developed to meet these expectations, reinforcing our commitment to offering products relevant to local lifestyles and delivering higher value to our customers," Ng said at the model's launch event.

The SUV is built on a monocoque platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase, ensuring a spacious cabin and a stable, comfortable driving experience. It features a contemporary utilitarian design, complete with LED Storm-Eye headlights and a prominent front grille, available in four exterior colors. The 1.5L TGDi 2WD variant is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 170PS and 270Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 2.0L TGDi XWD variant utilizes a 2.0-liter turbo engine delivering 245PS and 375Nm of torque, coupled with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system.

Both variants come equipped with a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, artificial leather seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger, voice assistant, and seven USB ports. The top-tier variant further enhances the experience with a 15.6-inch multimedia screen, a nine-speaker Sony premium audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and front passenger seats with power adjustment and a leg rest.

Safety is a key focus, with the T1 featuring six SRS airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a panoramic display. The vehicle has earned a five-star ASEAN NCAP rating, achieving an overall score of 87.67 points. To further incentivize buyers, Jetour is offering a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, a 10-year or 1 million km powertrain warranty, and five complimentary maintenance services. Additionally, the first 2,000 customers who register the Jetour T1 will receive a RM2,000 rebate and financing rates as low as 1.68%, subject to terms and conditions. The Jetour T1 is now available for test drives and bookings at 43 dealerships nationwide.
