The renowned Hollywood actor John Malkovich, who recently embraced his Croatian heritage by officially becoming a Croatian citizen, has been spotted enjoying the picturesque Adriatic coast. Malkovich, known for his iconic roles and distinctive presence, was seen spending time on a boat with fellow actor Leon Lučev. Photos shared on Facebook suggest they were engaged in filming for the Croatian National Tourist Board, with Malkovich appearing relaxed and at ease.

This visit marks a significant moment for Malkovich, whose maternal ancestors emigrated from Croatia to the United States. The actor was formally presented with his citizenship documents in a ceremony attended by the Minister of the Interior, Davor Božinović. The minister shared the news on social media, highlighting Malkovich's new role as a Croatian citizen and celebrating his connection to the country.

Earlier, Malkovich also met with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. The Prime Minister expressed his pleasure at Malkovich embracing his roots and discussed topics related to Croatian culture, tourism, sports, and business. Plenković emphasized Malkovich's status as an inspiration to younger generations and praised his pride in his Croatian heritage. Malkovich's presence in Croatia underscores the country's appeal as a cultural and tourist destination, further strengthened by his newfound citizenship.
