Jokowi to PSI Cadres: Come to Solo If You Have Problems

President Joko Widodo, affectionately known as Jokowi, made an appearance at the Regional Coordination Meeting of the PSI party in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Addressing thousands of party cadres, the Indonesian leader, who is also the father of the party's chairman Kaesang Pangarep, emphasized the importance of direct engagement with the public.

"For all cadres and officials, especially in Kupang City, I entrust that we all continue and consistently remain among the people," Jokowi stated, wearing a traditional East Indonesian headscarf. He encouraged the party members, whose symbol is an elephant, to work diligently and maintain internal solidarity across all party levels.

Jokowi also extended an offer to help resolve internal party disputes. He humorously suggested that if issues cannot be settled within the party's hierarchy, cadres are welcome to visit his home in Solo, Central Java. However, he cautioned against making such trips a habit, implying that internal resolution should be the primary approach.

The event was attended by prominent PSI figures, including Grace Natalie, Raja Juli Antoni, Isyana Bagoes Oka, Ronald Sinaga, and Christian Widodo, highlighting the party's efforts to strengthen its presence and organization.
