Julio César Baldivieso returns to Aurora as coach

Julio César Baldivieso is back at the helm of Aurora, the club announced Friday. The Cochabamba-born coach will lead the team alongside Enrique David Díaz, stepping in after the exit of Colombian manager Giancarlo Umaña.

Umaña's departure came after a season marked by inconsistent performances, including several draws and a decline in the team's overall form. Aurora had a strong start to the season, even reaching the top positions in the league, but gradually lost ground and now sits in eighth place with 24 points. With Umaña's exit, Aurora becomes the last team in the Professional Division to have changed its coach this year.

Enrique David Díaz echoed Baldivieso's optimism, highlighting the quality of the players. "We have a lot of work ahead. The quality of players here is very good. We hope to get 200% out of these guys to fight at the top, where Aurora belongs," Díaz stated. The new coaching staff aims to maximize the team's performance and restore Aurora's competitive standing.
