Juventus Snatch 1-1 Draw Against AC Milan in Serie A

Federico Gatti rescued Juventus from a home defeat against AC Milan, heading in an equalizer in the second minute of stoppage time for a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Stadium.

The match remained goalless through the first half, although Juventus created the clearer early chances. Francisco Conceicao twice tested Mike Maignan, who parried the winger’s first effort and then saved a shot from a tight angle.

Juventus continued to press after the break. Conceicao struck the post after Yunus Musah’s error allowed Manuel Locatelli to set up the chance. Milan then broke the deadlock in the 68th minute when substitute Alphadjo Cisse received a pass from Samuel Chukwueze and scored from a tight angle.

Juventus pushed forward in search of an equalizer. Nick Woltemade shot over the crossbar from a loose ball in the penalty area before Koopmeiners sent a cross from the left into the box in the 90+2nd minute. Gatti, who had come on four minutes earlier, was unmarked and headed past Maignan.

The result left Milan fourth in the provisional standings with seven points from three matches. Juventus had the same total but an inferior goal difference, according to the official Lega Serie A website as cited by Antara.
