Kılıçdaroğlu reappoints individual dismissed eight years ago

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP), has reappointed Hacı Tanrıbuyurdu to the position of Kırşehir Provincial Chairman. This decision is notable because Tanrıbuyurdu was previously dismissed from the same role eight years ago by Kılıçdaroğlu's own administration.

The reappointment comes as the party's interim management, appointed after a court ruling of "absolute nullity," dissolved provincial organizations in Kütahya, Uşak, Karaman, and Çankırı. New appointments were made in Eskişehir, Sivas, Kırşehir, and Uşak.

Tanrıbuyurdu's initial dismissal in 2018 followed the general elections. At the time, he expressed strong opposition to the decision, stating, "We cannot accept our central office dismissing us while we are working to win elections in Kırşehir." He had also called for a democratic congress to challenge the leadership that removed him.

The current move by the interim management to reappoint Tanrıbuyurdu to Kırşehir has drawn attention, marking a significant shift in the party's provincial leadership in the region.
