Kılıçdaroğlu Silent on New Party After Meeting with Parliament Speaker

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was appointed leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP) by an absolute nullity decision, met with Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş following the party's announcement of forming a new political entity. The meeting, which lasted about 45 minutes, took place after CHP leader Özgür Özel officially declared the establishment of a new party during a group meeting.

Özel stated, "We are establishing our new party by taking the first step with the deputies elected by our nation, who have entrusted their authority to it. There is no doubt that we will be the main opposition party in the Grand National Assembly by a clear margin."

After the meeting with Kurtulmuş, Kılıçdaroğlu was approached by journalists seeking comments on Özel's decision to form a new party. However, he did not respond to their questions, leaving the press unable to obtain any statements regarding the internal party developments.
