Kaohsiung Launches 'Mountain City Water Park' for Summer Fun

Kaohsiung City is set to offer a refreshing escape with the upcoming 'Mountain City Water Park' event, a highlight of the 'Liugui Hot Spring Spring Tour Season.' Organized by the city's Tourism Bureau, this initiative aims to attract visitors to the Liugui district by combining thrilling water activities with the charm of local markets and the natural beauty of the mountains.

The event, running every weekend from May 2 to May 24, will transform the Liugui Baolai Second Parking Lot into a vibrant water playground. Featuring large inflatable water slides and a dedicated children's splash pool, it promises a fun-filled experience for families. This is part of a broader effort to promote Liugui's attractions, which include its renowned hot springs, unique geological landscapes like the Shi-ba-lo-han Mountain, and local specialties such as mountain tea.

To encourage local economic activity, the Tourism Bureau has introduced a special offer: visitors who spend NT$500 or more at designated cooperative businesses in Liugui will receive complimentary access to the water park. This initiative not only provides entertainment but also supports local merchants, creating a win-win situation for both tourists and the community. Additionally, a limited 'NT$50 Market Double Coupon' will be available, allowing attendees to enjoy greater value at the market stalls.
