Karol G, Maluma, Miguel Bosé to headline benefit concert for earthquake victims in Colombia

A star-studded lineup of Colombian and international artists is set to perform at a solidarity concert in Bogotá on August 23rd to support those affected by a devastating 7.4 magnitude earthquake that recently struck the country.

The concert, titled 'Voces por la vida' (Voices for Life), will feature prominent musicians such as Karol G, Miguel Bosé, Sebastián Yatra, Maluma, and Silvestre Dangond, among many others. The initiative is a unified effort by Colombia's music industry to contribute to the reconstruction of the hardest-hit regions and to help families rebuild their lives and homes.

The music industry in Colombia has decided to unite behind a single purpose: to donate its work to help in the reconstruction of the most affected areas and to contribute to families who lost their homes being able to have a roof again and start rebuilding their lives.

Organizers stated that the entire proceeds from the event, held at Bogotá's Vive Claro venue, will be donated to Presentes Corporación. This organization will use the funds to support reconstruction tasks and provide assistance to families displaced by the earthquake, which has already claimed over two hundred lives.

Karol G will participate remotely via livestream, joining forces with her Fundación Con Cora, which focuses on empowering vulnerable women and communities. The event also encourages public donations starting at 100,000 Colombian pesos (approximately $32), which includes a ticket to the concert. Promoters emphasized that artists, producers, media, and numerous behind-the-scenes professionals are contributing their work and resources without charging any fees, demonstrating a collective commitment to the cause.
