KATSEYE's 'Animal' Hits No. 4 on Spotify US Chart, Sets New Record

Global girl group KATSEYE has set a new personal best with their latest single, 'Animal.' The song debuted at number 4 on Spotify's US Daily Top Songs chart and number 9 on the global chart on June 24. This achievement surpasses their previous hit, 'Internet Girl,' which reached number 6.

'Animal' has also entered the charts in 47 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The accompanying music video garnered over 10 million views on YouTube in less than a day after its release. The video has been praised by foreign media for its concept, which humorously depicts the life of a pop star, and for a cameo appearance by Hollywood actress Demi Moore.

KATSEYE, a collaborative group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, has already received significant recognition. They won three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards and were nominated in two categories at the 68th Grammy Awards. Their third EP, 'WILD,' featuring the new single 'Animal,' is scheduled for release on August 14. The group is set to commence a 31-date tour across North America and Europe starting in September.
