Kazakhstan to Host Abraham Accords Accession Ceremony in Astana

Kazakhstan is poised to become a signatory to the Abraham Accords, a move that underscores its commitment to fostering regional stability and enhancing economic cooperation in the Middle East. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced Kazakhstan's readiness to host the official accession ceremony in Astana, emphasizing that the Accords provide a crucial foundation for peace and robust trade relations.

Kazakhstan, as is known, is committed to the decision made earlier. We believe that the official ceremony of accession to the Abraham Accords could take place in Astana in the near future. I would also like to note that we are interested in strengthening cooperation in such important areas as artificial intelligence and digitalization.

During high-level talks with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Tokayev reiterated Kazakhstan's dedication to the Accords, viewing them as a mechanism for reducing conflict and promoting dialogue. The Kazakh leader also expressed keen interest in deepening cooperation with Israel in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence and digitalization, signaling a forward-looking approach to bilateral relations.
