Kedah Menteri Besar Claims Campaign Speech Manipulated, Threatens Lawsuit

Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md. Nor has vehemently denied allegations of making racist remarks during a recent campaign speech in Negeri Sembilan. He asserts that his statements, which touched upon the history of Tanah Melayu, have been deliberately manipulated and quoted out of context by certain parties to create a political issue.

Sanusi, who is also the Director of Elections for Perikatan Nasional (PN), warned that he would not hesitate to take legal action against anyone found to be distorting his words for political purposes. "Anyone who tries to manipulate this issue for political gain, I will sue. I will take legal action to correct the course," he declared, urging people not to misrepresent facts.

He further stressed that his historical account should not be a source of tension, as history needs to be studied to understand the past, present, and future.
