Madura United's foreign midfielder, Kerim Palic, has decided to leave the squad preparing for the 2026/2027 season, citing pressing family matters. The Bosnian and Herzegovinian player chose to terminate his contract early, a decision communicated directly to the club upon his arrival in Madura.

Madura United Director Annisa Zhafarina explained that Palic had an active contract and was committed to continuing with the team. However, his personal circumstances led him to withdraw. Unlike previous assignments, Palic did not bring his family to Madura this time, a situation that significantly impacted his performance and focus. The longing for his family and concerns about their well-being made it impossible for him to concentrate fully on his duties.

Palic's departure opens up an additional foreign player slot for Madura United. The management is actively searching for a new import player to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.
