Kindergarten Construction Delays Expected in Ísafjarðarbær

Ísafjarðarbær municipality is facing delays in allocating kindergarten spots as construction on the Eyrarskjól and Sólborg kindergartens has not finished on schedule for the autumn semester. This setback means that some children will not be able to start at their assigned kindergartens as planned.

The municipality had intended to complete the renovations and expansions of both facilities before the start of the new academic year. However, unforeseen issues have pushed back the completion dates, creating uncertainty for families awaiting placement.
