Klaipėda completes renovation of Jeronimas Kačinskas Music School

The Jeronimas Kačinskas Music School in Klaipėda has undergone extensive renovations, with the project now officially completed. The Klaipėda City Municipality announced that the company "IVRO" carried out the refurbishment, which exceeded 4 million euros.

Mayor Arvydas Vaitkus stated that the revitalized school will soon be filled with music, creativity, and the voices of children. "Our goal is that every child in Klaipėda, regardless of which school they attend, has the opportunity to learn in a modern, safe, and inspiring environment," Vaitkus said in a statement.

During the renovation, the school saw significant upgrades. These included the replacement of all windows, the installation of a new ventilation system, the creation of bright spaces with glass partitions, repainted walls, refurbished basement areas, and a new parquet floor in the second-floor hall. The building's facade was also updated.

Additionally, the school is now equipped with a lift to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The municipality also noted that other educational institutions in Klaipėda are currently undergoing or are scheduled for renovation, including Klaipėda "Ąžuolynas" Gymnasium, "Aukuras" Gymnasium, and "Vyturys" Progymnasium.
