Knauf Gypsum Board Conducts Practical CSR Training for 'New Middle-Aged' Trainees

Knauf Gypsum Board has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by implementing a practical, skills-focused training program for "new middle-aged" individuals. This initiative, aimed at bolstering the practical capabilities of those over 40, is part of an ongoing effort that began last year. The recent session saw 23 trainees from the Indoor Architecture Design department at Korea Polytechnic University, Seoul Gangseo Campus, participate in intensive training at the Knauf Gypsum Board Technical Center (PSTC). The program began with theoretical education, including an introduction to the company and the PSTC, followed by a review of installation guide videos. Trainees then moved to the practical training space, donning safety gear to engage in hands-on activities. These sessions covered essential construction techniques such as installing lightweight steel studs, cutting and fixing gypsum boards, and ceiling installations. A key aspect of the training involved participants directly using specialized construction equipment, like magazine guns and T-squares, which are not commonly encountered, thereby deepening their practical understanding. Knauf Gypsum Board expressed its hope that this training would serve as a valuable stepping stone for the trainees' professional development and reiterated its dedication to contributing to the industry and local community through continuous education and social contribution activities.
