Komaitai ruled out of Drua move

Manuqalo Komaitai, a national representative, will not be joining the McDonald's Fijian Drua Women's team this season. Head coach Mike Legge confirmed that Komaitai received a promotion within the British Army, making her career a priority. "Unfortunately, Manu won’t be joining us this season," Legge stated. "She’s just received an opportunity to be promoted within the British Army, and we feel that’s her priority at this stage, especially from a career perspective."

Komaitai was expected to join the Drua squad later in the campaign from English club Harlequins. While she has not previously played for the Drua, she was seen as a potential player to strengthen the team during the season. The focus now shifts to her potential participation with the Fijiana national team later this year.
