Lagos pushes green skills as youths get N20m grant

Lagos State is demonstrating a forward-thinking approach by championing the development of green skills among its youth, recognizing the critical role they play in tackling the climate crisis and driving sustainable economic growth. The Oando Foundation's N20 million grant to 10 young innovators under the Green Youth Upskilling Programme is a significant investment in Nigeria's future.

As articulated by Mrs. Titilayo Oshodi, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Climate Change and Circular Economy, equipping young people with practical, future-ready skills is imperative.
