Lam Dong accelerates land clearance for two key expressways

Lam Dong province is intensifying efforts to expedite land clearance and resettlement for two vital expressway projects, the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong and Tan Phu - Bao Loc highways. Provincial authorities are actively addressing obstacles to ensure contractors can maintain construction schedules for these strategic infrastructure links.

We are focusing all our efforts on accelerating land clearance, compensation, support, and resettlement for the two expressway projects, considering it a key task to ensure the progress of these strategic infrastructure works connecting the region.

Progress on both projects has improved significantly. For the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway, most localities have approved compensation plans, with several areas like Di Linh and Tan Hoi completing the process. Key sections, previously considered bottlenecks, have been cleared and handed over for construction, demonstrating the positive impact of coordinated local government action. Approximately 446 hectares, over 83% of the approved area and nearly 72% of the total project scope, have been cleared for the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong highway.

Despite the overall positive momentum, some areas lag behind schedule. The primary reasons include residents' dissatisfaction with compensation, leading to appeals regarding land value, area discrepancies, legal documentation, or existing structures. Specific issues persist in Gia Hiep commune regarding land valuation and in Ninh Gia commune with land disputes and compensation disagreements. In Duc Trong, pending new valuations for houses and structures are delaying compensation plans.

Similar positive developments are occurring with the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway, where land clearance is also showing encouraging signs. Provincial leadership, including Governor Ho Van Muoi, is personally engaging with affected residents, offering encouragement and support. The province views the timely completion of these projects as a crucial task for regional connectivity.
