Long Thanh Airport Welcomes 80 New Staff in Latest Recruitment Drive

Long Thanh International Airport has welcomed 80 new employees, marking its fourth recruitment drive and increasing its total new staff to over 250. The new personnel will serve in eight departments and four centers within the airport management unit, which is part of the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).

This recruitment is crucial as the airport, a significant national project, prepares for its initial operational phase. The first stage, which includes a control tower, a runway, and a passenger terminal designed for 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tons of cargo annually, is nearing completion. ACV anticipates the airport will begin operations by the end of 2026.

The project requires a substantial workforce, with nearly 14,000 employees needed for phase one across various sectors including airport operations, air traffic management, and aviation services. The airport's total capacity is planned for 100 million passengers and 5 million tons of cargo per year, to be developed in three phases.
