Kehinde Laniyan has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Baseball and Softball Association in Oyo State, Nigeria. This appointment further highlights his growing influence, following his recent selection to the WBSC Africa Baseball Commission.

The Sports Council specifically noted Laniyan's significant contributions to grassroots sports development within Oyo State. His initiatives include organizing national training camps, hosting championships, and conducting coaching clinics.
