Sportivo 2 de Mayo achieved a significant victory, defeating league champions Olimpia 1-0 with a late goal in Pedro Juan Caballero. The "Gallo Norteño" secured the crucial three points in the fourth round of the Clausura tournament, extending their perfect home record at the Estadio Río Parapití.

The match was intense and evenly contested. Olimpia attempted to dominate possession early on, but Sportivo 2 de Mayo responded effectively through quick transitions.
