Lithuania to Hold Press Conference on Drowning Prevention Statistics and Measures

Lithuanian authorities are set to hold a press conference to address the critical issue of drowning prevention. The event, scheduled for June 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM, will provide a comprehensive overview of the situation regarding water safety in the country.

Officials from the Fire and Rescue Department will present statistics detailing rescue operations conducted over the past five years. This will include figures on the number of people who have drowned and the number of individuals successfully rescued.
