Following a destructive storm, Druskininkai Mayor Ričardas Malinauskas has reached out to residents, seeking to understand their immediate needs and offering support. He posted on social media, asking, "Who needs what kind of help?" and encouraged those whose property was damaged or access blocked to contact their local elderships.

Specific contact numbers were provided for the Viečiūnai eldership (+37068749038) and the Leipalingis eldership (+37068740179). Residents experiencing damage and seeking compensation were also advised to reach out to the elderships and the municipal preparedness officer at +37068637062.
