Macut: The main task at the beginning of the mandate was to preserve the stability of the state in times of crisis

As reported by N1 Serbia, Prime Minister Đuro Macut reflected on his first year in office, emphasizing the critical challenge of maintaining state stability amidst profound societal divisions. Taking the helm in April of the previous year, Macut prioritized a collective, responsible approach to governance, focused on the welfare of Serbian citizens rather than departmental silos. He noted that while the situation has since stabilized, the performance of ministers has varied, with some demonstrating strong commitment and others falling short of expectations.

Looking ahead, following the government's one-year anniversary on April 16th, Macut indicated a strategic shift towards enhancing efficiency in addressing citizen-centric issues. This will be coupled with necessary "personnel adjustments" if deemed required.
