Trailing closely behind Madonna is American star Taylor Swift, who garnered nine nominations. Swift's nods include Video of the Year for 'The Fate of Ophelia,' Artist of the Year, and Best Pop for her recent work 'The Life Of A Showgirl.' Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande are also strong contenders, each receiving seven nominations across categories like Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, and Best Pop.

The competition extends across various genres, notably in the Best Latin category. Nominees include Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny for 'NUEVAYoL,' Colombian artist Karol G for 'Papasito,' Spanish singer Rosalía with Yahritza Y Su Esencia for 'La Perla,' and the collaboration between Anitta and Shakira for 'Choka Choka.' Shakira also received a double nomination in this category alongside Burna Boy for 'Dai Dai,' the official World Cup theme song.
